It cracks me up and honestly I totally agree with you: If you want good service, get to know the people!
I always make a point to do this, plus I just like finding out unique things about people.Amber Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15999396249845872773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1936190274812663583.post-44078755254113463732007-05-11T15:38:00.000-04:002007-05-11T15:38:00.000-04:00Cute and different post, Jill. I found a quote from Dale Carnegie YEARS ago..."You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you." It didn't take long to realize that there is HUGE truth in that quote!

This is a great post...thanks for posting the truth so humorously!Diannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16587857698620395400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1936190274812663583.post-2048236932383045532007-05-11T18:47:00.000-04:002007-05-11T18:47:00.000-04:00My hubby is the same way. He can tell me all about the people at the shipping place (where they call him Obi-Wan), the photo lab, the dry-cleaners, DHL, FedEx, the list goes on and on. He loves to chat with all of them and learn about their lives. It's so funny to hear what he know about them and how little they really know about him.Vader's Momhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08302333694139074448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1936190274812663583.post-30716436689267843812007-05-11T23:32:00.000-04:002007-05-11T23:32:00.000-04:00So true! They never look them in the eye or even talk to them. I always try to get to know them too and to let them know I appreicate what they do for me. It really helps! Me and them. Good post Jill.justabeachkathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06730467440181411875noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1936190274812663583.post-78343583955780415532007-05-14T21:22:00.000-04:002007-05-14T21:22:00.000-04:00LOL! We sort of have the same kind of relationship with the Mexican guy who opened a restaurant across from our house a few years ago. He talks to our children in Spanish and they try and pick up on things since they've only learned a little Spanish. It's really cool though. I enjoy getting to know things about him and his wife...like that he LOVES football (soccer) and it's big in Mexico. Relationships are funny aren't they?!!!Sonyahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07613263166159376916noreply@blogger.com
