I usually let him sprinkle a little shredded cheddar cheese on top because it makes it even more appealing.
"Eat, child! Please eat it all!" I say to myself.
So I was pleasantly surprised last night when Adam gobbled the bowl of pasta right up.
"Do you want more? You can sprinkle a little cheese on top again."
"Yes, mom. I want only a liddle more pasta but a BIGGER more cheese," he said, stretching his arms as wide as they would go.
"And I don't want 'da cheese on 'da pasta. I jus wanna sprinkle it in my mouff then throw away the liddle more pasta."

my mom one convinced my brother that refried beans were chocolate so he would eat them.
Oh, he has learned the yumminess of cheese early, hasn't he?
Who does he get that from? ;-)
Don't you love how honest they are?
Too cute.
Absolutely TOO cute!!!!
We had pasta with red sauce last night too. Only my children won't eat it. They only want the noodles with Parmesan Cheese on top. LOTS OF IT.
Your little man had a PLAN!!
That is so cute! I am with him. I love a higher ratio of cheese as well. :)

Oh, too cute!
I still have a picky little six yr old at the moment...but she does love her shredded cheese!
Too cute! My oldest has been a picky eater since birth and still won't eat pasta or rice - a texture thing we finally figured out.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Sandy
Too cute!
I have two kids -- the older one is so picky it drives me crazy and the other one will eat anything, including trying to eat all OUR food after she's done with hers.
Sigh.
