Bought, Wrapped, Tied, Baked, and Decked

Today is officially the first day of my twelve day Christmas break. Yipee!

For some odd reason I thought this would be a good week for tile to be installed in our dining room. What was supposed to take two days took four. But it looks beautiful. And the buffet is no longer in the middle of our library. Thank goodness.

This morning I made a finally sweep through Target and the grocery store. I told Doug if we haven't bought it by now, we don't need it.

This afternoon I visited Franco, my hairdresser, and I am all set to celebrate the season as a natural blonde once again.

I know this time of year isn't festive for everyone. Maybe you are all alone. Maybe you have lost a loved one, or lost a job. If you were here I'd invite you over to share the holidays with my family. I'd give you a hug. Since I can't do that, please know I care and know I am saying a prayer for you.

To all of you who have made this year so fun, funny, thoughtful and blessed: Merry Christmas!

Just Mom :
