Mama, push me and help me go way up high!
I was pushing my little boy on the swing at the park.
And then stand back and let me go so I can fly to the sky all by myself.
And in a nutshell, my sweet little boy, that's what a mama does.
So...
Have fun.
Swing high.
Throw your head back and soak in the sun.
And then fly, my son.
Fly high, fly strong and fly far.
SOAR!

Cute! I love kids, that post makes me want to cry...they're just so sweet.
What a beautiful way to capture the essence of being a mama!
Neat! So appropriate... just thinking about it gets me all choked up. That moment hadn't occurred to me until now...letting Dear Bebe's wings soar when she's older...yet we just said goodbye to my Stepson who was deployed to Europe last week. How hard that must have been for his Mother. I know my hubby keeps muttering to himself "I can't believe my son is overseas."
Great post!
Very sweet! You're a great Mom. I hope you'll accept the "Mom" award I passed out today.
Hugs!
Kat
So sweet! Makes me get all teary-eyed!
So true! So true!
So true. Some days I get nervous and hope I am preparing them as much as I possibly can for this big, sometimes bad world so they can fly on their own.
Beautifully written, and so, so true!
We all need to take a lesson from your little man and put our heads back and soar!

Great illustration! Thanks. Now if I could only find a swing today. LOL
