At Least He Has Good Table Manners
1.05.2008
Yesterday my husband left the house early, before Adam and I were awake, to have breakfast with a friend.
When Adam woke up, he asked where his daddy was.
"He's having breakfast with his friend, Mr. Adkins."
And, because lately we've been in the midst of teaching Adam how to say hello to someone, make eye contact, and even shake hands (you can never start too early)... I continued:
"If you were to meet Mr. Adkins you would say, Good morning, Mr. Adkins. It's nice to see you."
"NO! NO!" Adam exclaimed. "Adma say, Mr. Napkin. Wipe oss 'yo face!"

It is wonderful that as a young mother you are able to keep all these precious words. Keep on blogging!
